Senior Project Management Consultant
Lead complex client engagements and turn plans into successful delivery
At Autorola Solutions, we're helping transform how the global automotive industry operates through digital solutions, technology and business process expertise.
We're looking for an experienced Senior Project Management Consultant to own complex client engagements from pre-sales through implementation and delivery.
You'll be the central point of contact for our customers, creating clarity around scope, timelines, risks, budgets and deliverables while coordinating teams across Business System Consulting, Software Development (ASYS), Sales, Product Management and our subsidiaries.
If you thrive on bringing structure to complexity, building trusted relationships and driving successful delivery, we'd love to hear from you.
About us
The Autorola Group is a global leader in online vehicle remarketing, automotive IT solutions and business intelligence for the used vehicle market.
Through Autorola Marketplace, Autorola Solutions and Indicata, we help manufacturers, leasing companies, fleet owners and dealers buy, sell and manage vehicles more efficiently using technology, data and digital solutions.
Your role
As Senior Project Management Consultant, you'll own the client relationship and project delivery from the point an agreement is reached through implementation and completion.
You will work alongside a Business System Consultant, who owns the technical solution.
Your role is to create the structure around the engagement, align customer expectations with delivery capabilities and coordinate the people and activities needed for successful delivery.
You'll work with stakeholders at all levels, including management, directors and steering committees, while ensuring strong alignment across customers and internal teams.
Success means predictable delivery, strong customer relationships and projects that deliver value within agreed scope, timeline and budget.
What you'll be doing
Own the client relationship and communication throughout the project lifecycle, from pre-sales through delivery.
Understand customer needs, business processes and success criteria, and translate them into clear project requirements.
Set up and scope engagements together with the Business System Consultant and manage changes to scope and commitments.
Own project plans, timelines, milestones, budgets, risks and dependencies.
Lead planning, follow-up meetings, status reporting and proactive issue resolution to ensure predictable delivery.
Coordinate delivery across customers, Business Process Consultants, ASYS, Product Management, Sales and subsidiaries.
Manage development estimates and financial reporting, and communicate expected costs to customers and subsidiaries.
Drive projects to completion, confirm value with the customer and capture lessons learned.
Contribute to improving project delivery, Agile practices, standards and ways of working across Autorola Solutions.
Share best practices and support the onboarding and professional development of junior and peer Project Management Consultants.
Who are we looking for
We're looking for an experienced project leader who can create clarity and momentum in complex customer engagements and bring diverse stakeholders together.
You likely have:
Significant experience in project management, consulting or a similar client-facing delivery role, ideally within complex B2B environments.
A strong track record of managing projects across scope, timeline, budget, risks, dependencies and changing requirements.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including experience with senior management and steering committees.
The ability to understand business needs and processes and translate them into clear requirements and actionable plans.
Experience coordinating cross-functional teams across business, consulting, software development and other functions.
A structured, proactive and collaborative approach with strong financial awareness and a focus on predictable delivery.
Experience with software implementation, IT consulting, Agile environments or the automotive industry is an advantage.
What success looks like
Within your first 12–18 months, you'll have:
Built strong customer relationships and established predictable delivery across your
engagements.
Delivered projects with clear scope, controlled risks, realistic timelines and sound
financial management.
Successfully coordinated delivery across customers and Autorola's internal teams and
subsidiaries.
Helped customers realise value from their solutions and turned lessons learned into
improvements in our delivery practices.
Contributed to stronger project management capabilities through knowledge sharing,
mentoring and continuous improvement.
