We are a global company specializing in online car auctions and IT solutions for the automotive industry. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a skilled IT Systems & Service Manager to strengthen our Office IT function and take on a combined role as both department lead and service owner. You will be responsible for managing our IT systems and services, ensuring governance and compliance, and leading the Office IT team which currently consists of 3 employees.
This position combines operational ownership of IT services with people and project leadership responsibilities. You will report to the IT Director and work closely with the broader Group IT organization and local stakeholders in subsidiaries worldwide.
About Us
Our Office IT department manages core IT services and systems across the Autorola Group, including the Microsoft 365 suite, Entra ID, network, telephony, hardware, support, and IT security.
With rapid growth across 20+ countries, we face increased demand for standardization, risk management, and team coordination. We are now strengthening our team with a leader who can bring proactive service management to Office IT.
What you will be doing
As IT Systems & Service Manager, you will have a dual role: leading our Office IT team and managing the IT systems and services used across the Autorola Group. You will play a central role in maturing the department’s governance practices and service ownership while coaching and developing a skilled IT team.
Lead and grow a skilled IT team
- Lead, support, and develop the Office IT team
- Manage daily operations, task prioritization, and issue resolution
- Conduct regular 1:1s, support employee growth, and ensure team satisfaction
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and talent development
- Coordinate projects and resource allocation across ongoing initiatives
- Track and report on key performance indicators (support tickets, system availability, security posture, etc.)
- Collaborate with the IT Director on strategic planning and policy implementation
Manage and improve key IT services
- Lead deployment, integration, and lifecycle management of core IT systems and services
- Identify and migrate shadow IT into secure, managed environments
- Collaborate with internal experts to ensure GDPR compliance and manage IT-related security risks
- Collaborate with business units to align systems with evolving needs
- Oversee vendor coordination, license management, and access controls
- Evaluate and trial new IT tools to optimize performance and cost
- Maintain essential documentation and support user onboarding where needed
What do you bring to the table
We are looking for a structured, analytical, and people-oriented IT professional who can combine team leadership with technical ownership.
You should:
- Have a relevant educational background in IT, computer science, or similar
- Have experience in IT service management, implementation, and team leadership
- Understand IT governance, security, and licensing requirements
- Communicate effectively across teams and cultures
- Be fluent in both written and spoken English and Danish
